Any tips for the green dragon for my team? Just got munched earlier today.

Ive got beserker and singing axe (doing physical damage) in the front row, and a buff engineer and buff/healing bard in the rear. All around lvl 60-62. I tried Traumatising Blow with beserker, seeing as it was meant to be a % damage attack, but it certainly didn't take off 25% of his health like it said it should do. Moreover, bloodshot eyes silence/fear) didnt work after repeated attempts, so i could stop regen.

I know it's not much to work with, but any tips? Ive got an illusionist that i dont use, who i could take just for silence? But that wuld expose the back row...

That's probably not the best team makeup to fight the dragon, but it's not a big deal. Level up a bit more and you'll beat him by brute force.

As far as strategy, the reason bloodshot eyes isn't working is because the inflict isn't all that high compared to the dragon's resist. You should be able to see the % success chance in the text window when you try it. It will work eventually. I would try knocking the dragon down to about 30-40% health (just above where he would cast regen), then defend until silence works. After it works, hit him with your hardest attacks. Hopefully you can kill him before silence wears off. Since you have a bard, ode to magi and ode to elves will help a lot.

I killed the Green Dragon with one shot.

Here's my party members
Bard
Guard
Engineer
Archer

For the archer, I used the poison tip. The Bard casts Ode to Elves to make my party faster. Then my Engineer tweaked my guard, allowing her to do more slashing damage.

My experience is the opposite - if the battle drags on, he runs out of MP and can't regenerate. If he gets below 30% of his health, he'll probably regenerate.

As I recall, monsters are controlled by automatas - there's no automata for a delay of more than 5 turns, unless you have something like this:

Enemy - Every 2 turns - Attack
Enemy - Every 3 turns - Attack
Self - Health > 30% - Attack
Enemy - Every 5 turns - Regenerate

That would result in regeneration on turns 5, 25, 35, 55, 65... provided his health was under 30%.

Some monsters seem to have automatas that players don't.
