Posting here because I can't seem to find which change was the one that hit barb path of destruction - sue me :P
I agree path was a crazy 1 pt wonder. Get a pointy weapon and an aiming cap = 40mp to hit everything, the damage really started to stack up on the bigger packs. It was still great even after the aiming cap was nerfed.
The change hasn't fixed it though.
There's still no reason to put a pile of points into it, it just costs a lot more and the barb often kills himself on retaliating bad guys (bad guys you are 100 levels higher than...) at 1 point, or you drop 70 skill points into and the mana cost goes up to silly levels with no noticeable change. Yay, 40% hit penalty instead of 50%?
At least other AoE skills you see a damage improvement when you sink points into it and pay higher mana costs. Nerf the damage on low-ranked path, not the hit chance.
