It reads:
+10, +5%/level
This means it's the base damage +10 then +5% per level invested in shield bash. Compare this to ballista:

It reads:
30, +70% per level. This means the base damage is set to 30 then increased at 70% per level. The key is the lack or presence of the "+" sign. Of course, it could be an error in tooltips, but then again a total of 50 damage at level 100 (assuming the base damage is set to 10) would also be a bit ridiculous.

There is a problem with the monk multi hit. Even without focus they seem to hit for less and for much less damage.
A lvl 502 monk is no longer able to kill a lvl 300 creature without focus.
My lvl 502 monk (with 520+ skill points) doesn't even do 50% of a lvl 300 creature hp.

Something is really wrong.

As of now I really find my monk useless and wish there was a way to change one medal to another :(

But now monk can restore all mana and hp between the fights:
Meditate
Cost 10 MP + 4%/level
Restores:
health points 10 + 15%/level
mana points 10 + 15%/level

e.g. at level 10 the cost is 14MP and you restore 25HP and 25MP, so you gain 25HP and 11MP.
I don't know if he could do this at 1st level, but even at lower than 5 you should be able to do this (but a bit slower).
If you are able cast it at least once after the fight you don't need any potion, just cast it till you will have full MP and HP.

Was intented that he could cast it not during combat??

The berserker is even worse now, unless used as a guard with less defensive capability. Speed now gives +2 maximum hits at level 100. Lol.

thats my point Ape, just what atchoum said. a non focus monk cant even kill a single mob on ep3 Is not about my monk being my best char, my ninja is doing better in ladders. i just think that a char that have the worst base attack of all fighter class (except for guard for obvious reasons), that cant care a weapon, cant use all the equipment that other chars have, that only can attack once, and almost all the 20 top on ladder 1 vs 1 can hit twice, should at least be able to hit more then the others. Is easy for u to say when your berserk can hit TWICE, better damage, and the same nunmber of hits that a monk can do now. For monks or u do critical, or u do nothing. And btw, what I said before is just my opinion, i really dont need some little thought of hostile, surprise me coming from U, that used to be my guildmate.

That's not true. For a long time, the top characters on ladder 1vs1 have been monks. They not only hit as hard as a full geared berserker, but they attack first, most the time, and they do a lot of critical hits too. Even if you halve their attacks, they can still kill ANY enemy in one round. Like berserkers. Like ninjas.

At least for ladder 1vs1, they're still even with berserkers and ninjas, the only 3 classes that actually make the top 10 (and sometimes a saxe too).
